Kent Foods Direct, the UK's largest independent sugar distributor, generated nearly all revenue through telephone orders, so its support team was swamped with manual orders. It needed an e-commerce website where most sales could be placed and fulfilled automatically.
Solution
Pixated mapped the customer journey, wireframed it for stakeholder sign-off and built a responsive Shopify site, matching the platform used elsewhere in the group. It added a custom shipping system with rules by postcode, product, country and basket value, and an e-commerce performance dashboard.
